HackSC is the organizer of everything SoCal Tech — from tech weeks, to Hackathons, to speaker events.
DESIGN SYSTEM REVAMP
I lead a team of 4 designers to redesign the branding of HackSC. To best communicate the new designs, we created a brand guide and design system. I began with two thirty-minute brainstorming sessions to compile mood boards and goals for the new brand. With a team of UI/UX designers and illustrators, I had a wide variety of talented individuals to corral together.
Over the next three weeks, we developed visual assets, a new design system, and guidelines for use. Click on each image to view the full file.
GRAPHICS
Using Procreate, Illustrator, and Figma, I also designed fun graphics for our theme. Nothing was more rewarding than seeing our Hackathon attendees and hardworking team members enjoy the stickers, pins, and other swag.
